Stop signs are NOT suggestions, they say STOP not sort of slow down and make like you're looking around before just rolling on. I've had two cars totalled by morons like you and really don't want to go through it again.
If you are making a left turn you DO NOT have the right of way.
I know that speed limits are too low but doing DOUBLE the limit IS NOT ok, not saying I'm perfect and few of us are but c'mon this is getting silly.
You know that stalk on the left side of your steering column? If you move it up and down it activates TURN SIGNALS - USE IT!!! I guess if you drive a BMW, Acura SUV or and Audi you get a pass on this one, you must because none of you seem to know it's there.
Just because you drive an overweight and oversize pig that looks like a tall station wagon DOES NOT mean you get to have your way with those of us in normal vehicles, slow down and PAY ATTENTION to driving not whatever it is that you think is important enough to run me (us) off the road. You also don't get to keep backing into our cars in parking lots because you can't see them.
I know that motorcycles are fast and that you can rap it out to 10k and do wheelies while passing on residential streets but that DOES NOT mean you should.
I may be going slower than you'd like but I'm probably going over the speed limit and if that's not good enough for you TOO FUCKING BAD so please DON'T flash your lights/honk/make dumbass passing maneuvers on narrow residential streets. If your choice is to ride my bumper I will probably slow down until you're so pissed off that you will do something stupid and when we approach the next tight corner I will accelerate leading up to it and then go even faster through it because my sports car can and you will probably lose control because you were so fixated on being mad at me.
Some of the things I see on the road every day are driving me nuts lately. I've seen things that scared the daylights out of me over the last two weeks and much of it can't be blamed on distracted driving but can be blamed on just plain aggressiveness, rudeness, impatience, intolerance and piss poor driving skills. Over the last few months I've seen some horrible accidents and results of accidents and don't want to see me, my family or my friends involved in one. Please everyone, be careful ❣️

Fucking pinkbike scammers. Bought a cheap fork off a guy. It was old and there were just two photos, but the guy had an extensive buy/sell history and he described it as "functioning great". It shows up and the seals look like this:

Just unbelievably rotted, and the overall condition was way worse than described. I can only imagine what kind of shape the internals are in. This thing isn't worth more than the scrap value of the metal.

Message him on pinkbike and he tells me to pound sand. Took it to PayPal and he's doubling down, saying everything is perfectly fine and in no need of service, and claiming that even if it did need seals they are a $10 fix.

After El Chup's experience I'm pretty confident I'll be getting my money back back via PayPal, but fuck this guy.

I dented my frame in a fall yesterday, so the re-sale value went from good to....right off a cliff. Which is what happened with my body during the fall, but scrapes and bruises go away. Fuck.

Lame. Pull off the lowers; if the stanchions aren't scored up it will probably be fine with fresh oil and seals. If they are damaged, that's a pretty good reason for a claim and send it back.

What did you pay for it?

I don't know man, you got a fork for cheap and seals are a consumable. That doesn't mean that you didn't get a functioning cheap fork still.

Didn't you pay right around $100 for that fork? WTF were you expecting?

I had some idiot beep at me cuz he didnt want to stop and almost hit me at a 10mph roll thru. WTF! I yelled at him and he took off, but seriously?! This was a well lit intersection, I had a 750 lumen flashing front light (rear light also btw) that I pointed in his direction while coming to the intersection. It was a stop light and I had green, he wanted to turn onto the street and ignore his red. So yeah...def everyone be careful!!

I have always ranted about people that rip around corners on trails, out of control. Then a few days ago I ripped around a corner and had to crash to avoid hitting a guy. I am THAT guy now. Humble pie; eaten.

This spooks me a little. My trails are just empty enough to start thinking I'm alone when I'm not. Got on a 6" bike and lately I've been having a bit more fun, but mostly just at speed. Starting to rethink some of that.

People that put their dog crap in a little bag and then leave it on the trail. I went by five of these tonight. Thank you for taking something that would break down and wrapping it in plastic, and then leaving it for others.

yep, and then the little trail poop fairies pick them up for these slobs and they keep doing it.

Everytime I hear this excuse by poop baggers is that, "oh, I'll come back around on this trail and pick them up on my way back to the trailhead." Yeah right.

My 6 year old and I were out walking the puppy, kept come bag along the poop bags.

She asked why people just left the plastic bags. When pressed she answered st least don’t bag the poop so it will decompose. 6 yrs old and she knows better. Most people should be purged.

Shimano HG601 11 speed chain gets rusts spots after leaving my bike outside in some rain for a day. It only had a few rides on it so original lube should have still been on it. My kmc cheappie on my commuter gets lube twice a year, stays in water, slush and lots of salt all winter and still looks good.

This drives me insane. People who do this go an extra step to be more of an asshole. A pile of shit in a plastic bag is worse than a pile of shit on the ground.

You know what drives me kray kray? Corner cuts, cheater lines, go arounds, and strava. Keep single track single. If you blame a trail for being too tight, twisty, techy, slow, and not flowy enough for your plastic 150mm travel 66 degree HA long low "trail" droppah post wonder bike, then keep practicing till you suck less and stay on the trail. If you can't ride a feature then walk it. Don't make a dumbed down go around.

I'd like to rant about people who don't understand that cutting inside lines on trails has nothing to do with strava, nothing to do with lacking skills, and has everything to do with poorly routed trails and maintaining momentum

I think I'm supposed to demean your bike handling skills and go off on a phone app at this point.
