East Coast Roll Call 10 [ten] SKI or SKI NOT, There Is No Try

After another successful ULLRFEST [my head may disagree] we awoke to fresh snow on Glebe Mountain. Snowfall up to 11" blanketed the slopes of Vermont and NY,NH.

While we gorged on bacon and eggs in the early morning sunshine skin tracks were being set and powder skied.

Muffin, eggs, Taylor ham, 5 slices of bacon sammich

Some deviation in my path to Ullrfest, including seeing a NY maggot about a box.

Still gathering pics to be posted.

Fun to see the season start off in such a celebratory fashion. A lot of good to be excited about at the home hill of Ullrfest. Lots of intel was shared and although it isn't my place to divulge name or position, we have multiple maggot', newly placed as key players in management. It is abundantly clear that Magic is on the upswing and has a very bright future.

Many thanx to all that make this happen. It would be impossible to not miss people who contribute to the continued success of this gathering, but, to name a just a few; mr&mrs dowork and the entourage that help them, MNIAW and his tireless effort and equipment that makes everyone else enjoy themselves. Big Daddy, for his continued commitment to the lineage of the event. All the food, booze, prizes, and effort donated by people who care and enjoy making a difference. The cast of characters that make it so much fun to show up.

    many happy re-turns

Got some pics from across the lake to contribute to this fresh thread. Whiteface toll road in the ADKs:

Too bad I couldn't make the Ullrfest, but I wasn't going to be able to convince the lady to do both, so I chose skiing over party + bacon. Hope I don't have to make that choice too often. I have to try to convince her that both is best.

Woohoo its going to be a good year. I promise not to leave for the whole season like I did last year. Been doing some glade clearing over in the Maine woods.

Thanks to all who unselfishly sacrificed remaining brain cells in the name of a good winter. Tis much appreciated. Although the baconegginator looks almost just as good

Let last year be in the past and let the flakes fly.

Hopefully, my photography will involve a lot more skiing this year
Aim for the chopping block. If you aim for the wood, you will have nothing. Aim past the wood, aim through the wood.
