Stowebowl can actually be super fun. Insanely expensive, but fun. My kids love it. And some good beers.
Nice work on Gothics! If you guys ever get up here and the garden lot is full, send me a pm.
Spent the day in the woods with the Mrs, skiing stuff that hasn't been skiable in what seems like many years
Always love this perspective when skiing back to my house
Slides opened at WF yesterday, I know a few of you guys have been on the fence on checking the place out.... now might be a good time. bring avy gear.

IMO, today was a bit better than yesterday. That little bit of snow and the winds blew just right for a not so deep but soft refresher.

Did I miss this or has it not been mentioned in here? The cog rail wants to build a hotel a mile down from the summit? Old news, but I hadn't heard about this til today. Wtf

If this weather keeps up the next two weeks I'm kicking around driving up for the long weekend to do some touring. It just looks too good.

You been sleeping, all over the net. Likely be a good mid point for Benny to hang if he gets a hankering to split board up the "hill".
Speaking of Benny, he must be in town for the PARTY. Thinking I might roll up myself, haven't ridden a lift at Stowe in many years.
Tim, that Jay stuff reminds me of '98 a bit.
D-Roc ready to drop. Should have seen the look in his eyes, after setting the skin track and booter to this line[thanks mang] and he was locking his bindings in, I say Dropping 3 2
Cramps and axes would have been nice to go higher and take the drop in line.
Crank, great job with the sticks, here's a better one.
It appears the skier death in Baxter was a medical issue. Really sad the guy was with 6 others on the trip and died alone at Abol Pond. linkLast edited by Vt-Freeheel; 02-06-2017 at 07:41 PM.

Stowe and Jay doing well overnight. Today, in virgin snow, up north....it will be deep and fluffy. Damn I wish I could ski today.

I stumbled upon this deal at the end of last season, looks like they changed it up a little but can't beat saving some cash at the ticket window.

Also, I second the notion about not being able to ski today. Definitely spinning some night laps at BV tonight.

Lots of stoke on here lately. I had a great little hut trip in the Adirondacks...pretty excited on it. We got lots of nice snow, lots of sporty snow, and lots of adventure.
First turns of trip were good...a little wind affected, but good cover, with a great long ski down:
We did lots more poking around:
A highlight for me next day was exploring a nice line with a big ice bulge near top:
I found a nice little chute that wrapped around and up above the bulge to the top:
The top looking down to the valley:
So pumped to see everyone out there getting soft turns!Last edited by Adrider83; 02-07-2017 at 02:42 PM.
