Noticed a lot of Southbound boats on trailers while heading back from the Sweather on I93...clearly some folks are getting ready.

I'm sure my audience is probably less than 10 people on this, but I won a voucher for a full West Mountain season pass from a race I did over the summer. I'm not going to use it, so if someone could.. PM me and we can work something out.

East Coast Roll Call 10 [ten] SKI or SKI NOT, There Is No Try

Snowing right now in VT. I’m going to wake up to see a snow covered Camel’s Hump. Where’s the new EC Roll Call!?

I am with you. It was so cold this afternoon it must have been snowing up high. Might have to be sick from work tomorrow.

I suggest the new thread starts after someone actually puts skis to snow somewhere in the East.

That happened last night according to the fazebuk. Not sure if it was a mag, though.

And it will all end up running down the rivers after 4-5 more inches of rain this weekend.

Aim for the chopping block. If you aim for the wood, you will have nothing. Aim past the wood, aim through the wood.

The snow making ponds will get a solid re-charge, which is very needed.

Nice view you have there. This is the 1st year that I haven't had to use the wood stove in October. Ever. Will make it into November with zero heat used in the house. This is a good sign for the coming ski season. Nice longer mild start then hopefully winter settles in and stays without any major late Dec/Jan thaw.

Rog, maybe you should talk to your doctor and see if Viagra or Cialis might be right for you.

I drove to Stowe to check it out before work but opted to go to work instead. The snow line was just a bit too high for me to justify the hike up.

Yeah I thought the same thing. With so little snow the "skiing" must have been pretty bad but it still provided a healthy dose of stoke.

Big rain event mostly passed, 2 3/8" of rain so far. Currently gusting to 20mph, had a power blip at 3:30 that woke me up when my printer reset.
GMP reported there were 100,000 without power at one point and lots of damage in the Champlain Valley. Nothing appears askew here other than a few branches down. Reported 115 mph peak gust on Mansfield sounds spicy.

We had a large willow tree just miss the corner of our house in Waterbury Center. It fell on power lines but the power was already out when it fell, we're not expected expecting to get power back today. We were very lucky to all be safe and sound after that.

Bummer, glad your house is safe.

Swiped a pic of the Cutler River near the bottom.
