    Porter! Colorful, delightful porter.

Just found Stoneface's Porter at a local shop. Tasty, not pushy, not quite as colorful as yours.

VT-Freeheel, a tip of the Kzone hat in your direction. You made someone happy that day, no small feat. I'll drink your foil wrapped Lawsons anyday.

I realize it is summer and skiing is (mostly) done but this thread needs some resuscitation .

Great sunset peeked in for a few minutes after the storms yesterday. It was still raining when I took these.

Aim for the chopping block. If you aim for the wood, you will have nothing. Aim past the wood, aim through the wood.

Will send you some photos. They are in maybe 8 of 10 condition. A stonegrind would bring them to almost 10 of 10. Lots of edge left. Yes I will ship if necessary.

If anyone is looking for a new beacon, the EMS in Nashua currently has the Ortovox 3+ and the BCA Tracker 2 for 80% off. The store closes for good on Tuesday, so get down there ASAP if you want a great deal on a brand new beacon. Don't expect them to ship if you aren't local though.

NFS, FOTR and GBA teamed up for a John Sherburne Memorial Ski Trail and Gulf of Slides Ski trail-work weekend:

Coffee, bagels with chese, energy bars and brand new tools to use, including two dozen loppers, assorted foling saws and a dozen or so full-size pole saws. The after party at Black Mountain was a very nice time*.

On Saturday the Sherby got back to width from the Bridge Pitch on up to 3/4 of a mile below Hermit Lake. Pole saws put to good use. Large Crew...wide Sherby.

On Sunday the GOSST got back to width from the near the High Cache down to near The Dip. Special attention was paid to the gully crossings under the Fingers. Pole saws were again put to good use. Fewer people on the crew but the results were impressive.

    * The bar at Black had a nice assortment of Moat offerings. On a whim I tried the Moat Pils...it is the first Pils I have tried in many years that I would call for again.

Good info...wish I had seen this last night. Checking with my daughter who lives in Londonderry, NH to see if she can run down there and grab one for me.

    Edit...all gone

That's awesome. It's been a bit breezy so far, but still some nice, calm mornings.

Always willing to give up the stash if you are ever in the area. No strings attached cuz I'm a ski ho'.

Crazy loon lady reports boats without a spotter. We're rebels around here, but one can only push their luck so far.

You too Mr. Straw. No surf wake, but wake-boarding is a possibility.
