    FS: Elan Spectrum 105 - 180cm - Very Good!

    FS:

These were used for a trip out west on a pretty good snow year. Great "do it all" kind of ski - floats well, carves well, medium flex. No metal, so it won't crush, but is fairly burly despite that. That said, they are light for a 105-waisted ski. Lots of fun to be had on these!

3rd from left in the top pic.

    2014 Elan Spectrum 105 - skied 4 days

If those were 188s I would have bought them long ago!
Why don't you go practice fallin' down? I'll be there in a minute.

They were replaced by the Ripstick, which will be my next ski! I have another set of these I'm on now in the Alu version. Not as thin as I used to be...
It's a terrific ski though. I'm using Spectrums for both alpine and tele, and running them in 85,95, and 105 widths. They are a more-than-competent "do it all" ski.

I've been on every width of the spectrum in both regular and ALU. While I really enjoyed the 95 ALU, this was a fun ski. Very nimble, tight turning ski for its waist width. A friend in his 60s still rides one on fresh snow in trees. "It's not even fair," "its like cheating." Efficient little ski putting smiles on boomers.
