    can't wait for some tax free retail therapy! what's the best mall in HR?

    I do not have a clue, and am guessing there is not one. You could stop at the outlet stores in Troutdale as you leave Portland headed to Hood River. Not the best outlets...but...if that's your thing, could work!

    Nice to see the cold air is moving in. It's a sorry ass point forecast...but I like the general idea:


    Today
    Snow showers. Temperature falling to around 31 by 5pm. Breezy, with a southwest wind around 23 mph, with gusts as high as 33 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. Total daytime snow accumulation of 3 to 5 inches possible.
    Tonight

    Colder weather is moving in for sure. A really cold cell passed over my office this morning, probably dropping some snow in the Cascades now. Don't think it will be enough for lifts to turn this weekend but I'll be keeping an eye out. I went ahead and made plans to wine taste this Saturday in spite of the snow in the forecast. Maybe that will be enough to get Pucci going.

    not ideal, but i pray for just a little more than predicted each day. this weekend has a little potential...but yeah, long shot.

    for the record, i would take carousel at this point...need to get up there. smell the mountain air...get the family going for the year. perhaps even a beer and a safety break...

    A few hundred feet off the Summit is it. Parking @ Sunrise=cluster. Just in time a potential week long storm rolling in this weekend. Timberline partial opening Friday.
