Anyone use hot gear bags for boots? Can you power them with a portable battery?

Just picked up one of these. Been wanting a heated bag and after 30 years, my old ski gear bag is about toast. Shop at sugarbush had one at 20% off so I grabbed it. First trial will be this weekend.

I use a cheap 100 watt inverter ($25) to power a cheap 50 watt heating pad in the bag. Works great.
