Matt Wibby here with The Ski Journal.

The 2016/17 winter season is quickly approaching, and to spark some excitement we’re proud to announce the release of The Ski Journal Issue #10.1, now shipping. The signed issue will ship immediately, with the hat shipping in October.

For those who did not read the above info, Subscribe use promo code Maggot16 for a Nick McNutt-signed copy of TSKJ #10.1 and a free five-panel snapback hat.

Always wanted a subscription. And since I can't say no to a "free" hat -- ordered.

Keep up! Pretty skillful freestyle skier. He also had a few days free to sit and sign covers to the first issue of TSJ this summer.

    Sorry let me clarify

Having Glen Plake, a fucking legend, sign a magazine gets me to sign up.

The signature of some young rookie is pretty silly unless you are 13 yo.

    my $0.02

At the TGR world premier in Jackson, one of the senior TGR folks, told me that Nick was currently the best skier in the world (besides Candide). While skiing switch may not be your thing, Nick is a damn good skier and a legend in the making. Nick's AK lines in the latest TGR film are very impressive.

Regardless of the signature. The TGR issue is my favorite issue of The Ski Journal in the past many years and i do believe all will enjoy.

    Thank you for the support.

**** and if any Maggots would like a copy of the issue that Glen Plake did sign, type in the comment box at checkout you would like a signed Glen Plake issue included with your paid order. And we will send you a free Glen Plake signed issue of #9.1. We have 5 signed Plake Issues left, If you already have one, please let others play. Get em before they are sold out. i will delete this comment once sold out. ***********

Awesome pic! Kid looks stoked, pros look gracious.

As far as the Nick Mcnutt vs Glen Plake..? Plake had his time about 20 years ago. Mcnutt kid is for real. Hope he stays in one piece.

At red butte movie showing a few years ago, nutter butter and his crew were sitting behind me. Whole crew was wasted and commenting on what was about to happen the whole time. Asked politely to let others enjoy movie, to no avail. Whole crew might as well have been a sorry ass caricature of wasted red bull drinking ultra cool bros. Haven't gone to a TGR movie since. Landing big air switch is cool, making lame turns looking like a kook over your shoulder isn't. That's my take. Got my Plake signed issue framed!

Super impressed with the production quality, writing and photography of my first ever TSJ issue. Its the skiing equivalent of Bicycle Quarterly without all the bullshit snobbery and way more frame-worthy stoke.
