I have bought these passes for years. A great deal. Yes, the pass also works at Woods Lake.
I purchased mine at the information center on Carson Pass.

The close of Rose was like an O.G. Maggot convention:
Spats, Vets, Powpig, Corky, Thudder, Flexion Phil, SnowHot, Gone2Alpine, and a few others floating about.
Conditions were a combo of smooth-n-thick soft-serve, sun-cups, and sludge, but it was a good day. Found the best snow (for my tastes) to be in the trees surrounding "Ramsey's", "Jetta", and "Ida's".
solid tail-gating action in the upper lot, too.
only bummer was that they did not open The Chutes. Rumor was they were afraid of wet slides.
no worries in the long-run, as those suckers'r gonna go for a few more weeks (months?) .

Anyone going to be at Squaw this Saturday before the mid 70's heat turns everything to slush?

Anybody want to do Carson to Kirkwood tomorrow? Otherwise I think I'll be bushwhacking around Tallac. Does the summer trail make more sense at this point or is there enough snow down low to make the Spring Creek approach not totally suck?

South bowl looked pretty good from afar, if accessing from the summer trail, been awhile since I did spring creek. Coverage is still really good from the Carson Pass snow park, sun cuppy in the flats but the north ish facing stuff is still pretty smooth, some pics from today, did 3 runs today could have skied a couple more hours out there but wanted to save some energy for tomorrow

Freezing temps not looking good for the North Tahoe area. Guessing the window, if any, would be small and early?

Also, what's ridable in Truckee mtn biking wise?

Jackass and Lloyds, some of the Alder Creek stuff. Maybe Sawtooth but can't confirm that one.
I ski 135 degree chutes switch to the road.

No, it's still buried and will be for a few more weeks according to a friend who poked around up there. Lots of shade so it's going to take some time. Everyone is just looping jackass right now.

Finally had time to sit and watch. Jeebus. I'm guess ing you had your kid in ski school for part of the day, or were you just lapping him? "I'll be right back in 6 minutes...." We had fun at Squaw that day, but never got to the Mothership. It was the plan but we lost track of time and spent the day on the upper mountain. Too bad, as we were about 1800' short of his biggest day ever. Guess we have work to do in Mammoth in a few weeks.

    Strong parenting there!

The cool thing about ski areas is that little kids are actually quite safe on their own. People tend to look out for them and assist them. They ride chairs with and meet strangers and get to be part of the world without us always right next to them.

Oh, I can't wait. I love that he knows his way around Kirkwood. Soon enough he will want to ski on his own.

At 6, I don't think either of us are ready for phone in lodge for three runs, but I see the potential for next year even.

Three laps is all it takes on a lift like KT. I was looking up there all day knowing that if we got to ride the lift I was not likely to be skiing down where I was looking up at.

But then how do you play Words With Friends and post on TGR when riding the lift?
