Took some family to see the sheep at the elk refuge in Jackson this afternoon and we were treated with an hour of wolf watching. Counted four adults and two playful pups, patrolling the hills and then probing elk herd. One elk came out and told them eff off. We left near dusk... Wish I brought the big camera

We have a lot of moose in my hood. Buddy found this one the other day. Don't watch the video if you are a vegan.

    Wildlife

Sunday I was following my son down a groomer and a fox popped out of the woods. Both were startled and the fox ripped down the groomer for a few hundred yards before getting back into the woods. It was pretty cool.

My son got part of it on video which I can’t upload directly.

    Here it is on IG:

So, In the winter, the MIssouri woods are filled with Bald Eagles. This spot is 10 min away. I get up at day break once a week and today there were 15-20. It was like a scene out of apocalypse now. Click image for larger version.

@deathbynature is a good Instagram follow if you don't mind a bit of blood and gore from the animal kingdom.

You can spend quite a bit of time going back through the posts if you're sick in the head like me.

We had a big flock of snow geese the other day. Too far pics with a phone unfortunately. I've seen tundra swans here before bet never snow geese.
