First batch of bluebirds hit early in the week, robins are passing through in droves, saw sandhill cranes last week heading to Wolf Creek, waiting to hear the first meadowlark

Orca Network on FB is a great follow. Here's a recent video they shared of Orcas in the San Juans. Check out how fast that current is moving, almost pushing them back. If you don't have four minutes to watch the whole thing check out the last minute.

Monterey Bay Whale Watch had some great video of Orca predating on humpback whales earlier this week.

My son spotted this guy wandering around the neighborhood (maybe trying to figure out how to get up on the 15 foot high snow banks).

^^^^ Poor dude does not look good.

Here's a weak photographic effort from my outing today (especially compared to some of th gold in this thread). My phone is old and the goats were across the valley but they were silhouted against the sky at the ridge crest and it was a nice moment. Goats are so cool!

    Does this count?

I've had a couple bird strikes before but never a bat strike

Seems like my truck just earned a nickname...the batmobile. lol

Greater one horned rhino, Chitwan National Park Nepal

Taken with a little point and shoot camera...ueah he was that close. It makes one wonder just how tough a Indian made safari truck really is. He was posted because he just chased off a smaller upstart rhino, and now he had to deal with is. After several minutes he got bored and wandered off.
