    I was floating yesterday and the osprey caught a fish not 50 feet from me. Later on he was sitting on the tree across the road from us and crying--or whatever you call the noise an osprey makes-for quite a while before he flew off. I got a pic of him sitting on the tree--a very tall tree--but it's too blurry when I blow it up enough to make him out well. Cheap samsung phone.

    Anyone can tell me how to upload a 19MB MP4 video ?-- huge swarm of butterflies on top of Mt Rose.

    We watched a couple of sparrows chase off a golden eagle in the Grand Canyon. Always love to see David beat Goliath.
