The Snowy Torrents, Volume 6 - coming this fall!

The AAA is hard at work publishing a new volume of this classic compilation of avalanche accident reports. Make sure you get your copy hot off the press! And help us plan for our first print run while you show your support for the revitalization of this valuable resource.

Volume 6 will cover eight years of accidents from the mid-90s through the early 2000s. A limited number of copies are available during a limited-time "early-bird" special (25% off). Early-bird sale ends November 15, 2016 or when we reach our early-bird quota of 250 books/bundles in each category (whichever comes first).

Both print and e-book versions are available. You can bundle the two options together for further savings. All orders placed by November 15th will be fulfilled with the first round of printing. Books to be delivered during the first two weeks of December (just in time for the holidays... hint, hint).

We're done with 98 to 2001. Three more years to go. It's slow going- lots of material to collate, double-check, edit. Aiming for Jan 20, I think, was the last I heard. I'm doing some final copyediting for the project. It looks really pro. Thanks for your patience.

They are getting closer. Just finishing up the appendices, which are quite complicated. Sorry for the wait, but the authors/ editors want to do it right.
