It used to - I'm a Type II diabetic, so the alcohol makes the sugar sine curve pretty steep and just not worth managing. Another motivation to skip booze is I would like to keep my teeth, eyesight, hands and feet as long as possible. Originally Posted by MakersTeleMark

Unsalted sprouted almonds, dry and crunchy. Whole foods and Central Market are good sources, although availability varies by store. Expensive, but once used to them it is hard to go back to ordinary almonds.
