Ogre tragedy
Did I miss the thread? Tragedy on the ogre. Black diamond-based crew.
The search was called off. Saw a very touching FB post from a close friend of the climbers yesterday. Condolences to all friends and family.

I didn't know Kyle firsthand, but you can't watch this and not feel the loss of a great person.

Crazy. Tragic.
Stayed with Kyle and his parents 10 years ago while on a multi week MTB trip. Prior to my visit Kyles cousin died in a climbing trip they were on and Kyles mom was so worried about Kyle.
Ugh. Peace be with you and your family, Kyle.

Crazy story of them falling 90m when a V-thread failed on the 2015 attempt and only getting a bloody nose. Sound like super nice guys to boot. http://alpinist.com/doc/web16c/wfeat...-love-tenacity

Brendan Leonard at Semi-Rad.com wrote a nice remembrance about Kyle Dempster.
Condolences to the families and friends of Scott and Kyle.
