What are you doing for Labor Day weekend?

Curious what the maggot collective is up to this weekend.

    I'll start

Going to the Adirondacks with a long time bud. Mostly lake activities. Hope to get him into some fish on some smaller water while we're there.
Might camp a night to boot.

Not much of anything. Like a normal weekend, but more time with the family. Same amount of honey-do.
    I see hydraulic turtles.

Hanging in the girlfriend's apple orchard and helping out while she manages the picking crew tomorrow. Should be fun, and totally worth it. She bakes a kick ass pie!

Not sure about the other two days. I'm sure I'll think of something.

    Happy labor day, fuckers.

Heading to Groton State Park with the family for some camping, water fun, and hiking. I hope to catch some more early morning and sunset shot like I did last year. The hike through the dark forest at 4:30AM to the top of the small mountain where I could get a view above the fog was interesting

    Sunset:
Aim for the chopping block. If you aim for the wood, you will have nothing. Aim past the wood, aim through the wood.

Most of it will be in an aluminum tube high over the western hemisphere. The day after labor did we will start up the slopes of a small hill Ernest wrote about in "The Snows of Kilimanjaro. "

I hope Ernest will chime in.

What are you doing for Labor Day weekend?

Just sat in traffic for 6 hours driving from Lake Placid to a family obligation wedding near Boston. There are too many people in MA. Currently sitting in a hotel sipping on my second Sip of Sunshine. About to go get some wings and swim in the pool with my kids. I hope it's an open bar tomorrow night.... Up and out early Sunday morning to salvage the weekend, hiking, fishing, camping, and drinking will be had
