I'm searching for a "THIN" digital camera (so I can spam ya'll) that I can toss in my pant pocket or jacket pocket. Last season I used the Lumxi DMC-LF1 for shooting product shots in the field. I dug the camera but the retractable lens ended up failing after one too many times trying to put it in my pocket when the lens was shutting or not for that matter.

I would like to keep this under $500 as based on last year I see these only lasting for a season or two, plus technology is rapidly advancing.

I saw Benny's post on the Sony RX100 however its about twice the amount I am looking to spend.
