Well, I guess they're going to turn the place from a sleepy, quiet and hidden gem of a mountain into an overcrowded hill filled with condos, high speed and high capacity lifts, and overpriced food and merchandise for sale. Oh, wait.....

My only question is does it actually mean anything.
Move along nothing to see here.

MC pass should remain good next season:
Season Passes
For the full 2016-17 winter season, Whistler Blackcomb will continue to honor the resort's existing season pass products. Vail Resorts looks forward to integrating Whistler Blackcomb into its Epic Season Pass and other season pass products for the 2017-18 winter season.

Is it possible with more Epic pass opportunities those of us wanting and willing to ski ANYWHERE other than a Vail resort might find fewer crowds???

Smart move with the Loonie down. That made the purchase premium almost nil.

What does it mean for folks who are NOT on a Vail pass? Will everything become even more expensive? Asking because that was a destination on the family radar for Christmas 2017...
