    2016/17 NFL Fantasy League

We had a pretty good one going for awhile but for some reason it stopped last year. I would have cranked it up but was right in the middle of a move and didn't have time.

I'll go ahead and set one up for this season if there's any interest. Also, if anybody has a preferred site let me know. We used to use ESPN but personally I like CBS better.

I'll play again. Prefer CBS too but it ain't free and the mag league is usually free if my memory serves me right. I'd put a few $ toward CBS and winnings.

There is a free version on CBS but whatever the collective decides is where we'll go.

I'd give it a go. Last time I played we used the USA today newspaper to add up the scores and my QB was Kerry Collins

I'm in. And I second the Yahoo FF plug. It's about the only thing Yahoo does well.

This would be a lot more fun, except the KC thing.

I might be interested. We have used ESPN in the past, tried Yahoo and thought it kinda sucked.

I'm in too. Will be using ESPN for my keeper league so would vote for that just for ease of app use, but I'm down with whatever...

So if everybody signs up, right now we have 11 (I have a non-mag that wants to join, if that's OK). 12's a good number I think so we're almost there.

Something else to propose, I was checking into Yahoo and they offer Cash leagues with all transactions handled thru Paypal. I don't want to make this too complicated or gimmicky but I'm thinking this might make things a little more interesting and make sure everybody has some skin in the game. Let me know what you think. If you'd rather just do a free one, that's fine with me too.

edit: They also take credit cards so you don't need a PP account to pay but to get payouts you may need one.

Money on the line is good. Does yahoo deal with payout tiers? First, second, points winner?

Yahoo will do whatever you want to do as far as payouts go, the commissioner can edit the payouts and the amounts.

In my money league, we do money back for most points (regular season), money back for best record (regular season), money back for 3rd place winner (makes the runner up game interesting), double money back for SB loser and 5 times the dues for the SB winner.

I played in another league that was winner take all... I'm open for whatever, but I definitely vote to have some skin in the game, makes it more interesting IMO

Something along these lines was what I was thinking. What where your dues, DJ? I don't want to scare too many away with too large an amount. You know how this place is...

How about a grand prize for winning the season and a weekly kicker for high score?

I'm open to any suggestions as long as it doesn't make things too complicated. This would be fine though.

Yahoo is by far the best. Wonder what happened to the old TGR League? I am in for $50 if you need players
