Penn State is actually called "The Pennsylvania State University." It's because neither the University of Pennsylvania nor Ohio University are State schools - they're private.

Yup, most of my family, both parents, etc all went to U of M. Season tickets for 30 some years now.

Although it's much easier to root against Ohio State living in ATL. As long as I keep my head down around Bama, UGA, and Tech fans no one cares I root for the maize and blue.
