    Beer makes you fat

    http://www.npr.org/sections/thesalt/...-calorie-count

Pretty savvy move by the mega corporate breweries to do this, since they produce weak, fizzy yellow water that tastes sorta like urine, but, it has the lowest calorie count. I heard this in the car the other day, and it was like a knife in my heart. Damn, you, lord, damn you. And the topper is that one of my favorite winter bottled beers, the Brooklyn Chocolate Stout, is number one on their list. So, I assume that my favorite cocktail, which is a good IPA on draft and a nice shot of fine whiskey, is close to 800 calories. Damn you.
Benny has sworn off beer and whiskey for three months now, and the results are impressive. Thank you lord, for edibles.

It's no surprise that you know what urine tastes like.

I always knew you were more of an Appletini guy, Benny. Leave the beer drinking to us real men. Men who don't fall on offload ramps.

Honestly, I don't understand the whole ingredient list exemption that alcoholic beverages seem to have.
I would like to be able to read who's using real flavors or not.
Does anyone actually think Bud is made of malted barley and hops?
    No longer stuck.

Iirc a single 12oz dogfish 120m is over 400 calories. That said, I have a kegerator so I'm pretty sure I'm exempt.

I Recently stopped drinking beer. I dont really miss it. Red or white wine with meals. Gin and Tonics as a day drink. Whiskey as a night cap. Bloody Mary's Sunday mornings.

Fewer hang overs, facts, burbs, nasty shits, and lbs.

I was in the Providence airport the other day and they have these advertising display cases, one was for Keel Vodka, and they say it's low-calorie vodka. Wondering how that could be, I look into it and it's 48 proof - 24% alcohol, or a bit more than half what regular vodka is, so no kidding it has less calories. Not sure how they get away with even calling it vodka. I guess there must be a standard for "light vodka".

Not really a problem. Run 10K to the pub pound a couple of pints and run 10K home. The yin and yang of training.

I agree it is a constitutional right for Americans to be assholes...its just too bad that so many take the opportunity...

    Thank you.

It's tiring to see yet another label put on something for the truly inept that cannot figure out that regulary consuming large quantities of beer is not good for you.
