Adobe Premiere Pro... Tips, Tricks, etc?

I picked up a GoPro Hero 4 Silver this week to start shooting MTB videos (for my business, mostly), and I've started looking into editing software. Being a long-time user of Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop, Premiere Pro seems to be the most intuitive solution I've found. Overall I think that's the most important thing for me- as long as the software is quick and easy, then I'm more likely to continue putting out new videos; I'm not going to use 75% of the fancy features available. I hate their subscription model, but if it means $20 a month to use software that's quick and easy, then so be it.

Anyone else on here use it for editing? Thoughts, ideas, things to consider? For the most part, my videos are going to be 1/3rd POV, 2/3rds panning or still shots, and maybe 90-120 seconds in length. Nothing super fancy, to be honest.

I've been using Premiere Pro for years and love it. Since you are coming from Photoshop and Lightroom, I think it will be a very smooth transition for you.
