Pretty sure most of your posts sound like you've been doing meth for 48 hours straight, so don't throw rocks in glass houses buddy. This post you did is actually semi-coherent, but what's up with the anger, you 50+ and still raging bro?
I actually enjoy these forums too, sometimes because of your out-of-control meth head posts. Irony, huh?

I didn't see anyone here saying they don't have insurance? pretty sure everyone here does or else they live in canada etc where it's not necessary
why are we dumb MF'ers for riding and once in awhile getting hurt. tis how it goes. I try not to get hurt but when I do I take excellent care of myself and given that a couple of the guys that have posted here are actually in the med field themselves.
And the bragging aint happening in this thread so you are the dumbass for not reading and spewing your anger
why you so angry bro?skid luxury

Glad to hear you're getting there, that sounds like a bitch. Good luck Man! I was up at the Doc today and got the full lowdown on my scapula fractures. None of the articulating structures were affected and my AC joint looks great so I should be in good shape.
My Doc was Rothberg over at the U Ortho Center. Seems to know what's up. My surgery was friday and he said I'm good for passive and active ROM, just no weight bearing. So I started in on that, as tolerated, the next day. It's A LOT better already. Feels so much better having the clavicle stabilized too so at least there's SOMETHING holding it all up. Glad to hear you're doing well. This shit's a bitch, LOL. edit: That thing up top in the pic is just an ECG lead. That was a flouroscopy pic taken in the OR. As far as I know, I was still out. Funny, the last thing I remember is telling the Anesthesiologists wheeling me back "Ok guys, whatever I say in here, STAYS IN HERE!"
Holy shit, who's got the time to address all that idiocy? Suffice to say, STFU you Asshat.
HAHAHAHA, truth.
It's mind boggling.Last edited by beaterdit; 07-21-2016 at 07:57 PM.
There's nothing better than sliding down snow, and flying through the air

The only silver lining to beaterdit getting hurt is that we might see a little more of him on the forum until healed
wish we were closer to lend a hand while you recover budskid luxury

I went down hard a month or so ago... 1st real ride on a new (to me) bike and I blew through a familiar line with way more speed than I was used to. Ended up hitting an off-kilter rock hot and landed on my side into a small stump.
I never went for an xray (although I AM insured..) but there's no doubt my ribs were in rough shape.
It'll be 5 weeks tomorrow and I can still feel it if I move wrong or cough too hard..Last edited by JayPowHound; 07-21-2016 at 10:11 PM.

The Crash Thread
Went down hard last Friday in the worst and dumbest wreck I've had in years. We had completed a 7 mile road climb, and a couple miles of fire road and were practically in sight of the trailhead. We were chatting, taking our time, not going fast. I had my palms resting on top of the grips, thumbs up on the grip. My right hand slipped off the bar, instantly sending me into the dirt. Got up laughing, until I realized that my knee was gaping open. Buddy insisted I sit and wait for him, but it took about a minute for the bugs to start driving me crazy, so I coasted down until we crossed paths. Then, an hour drive to the ER. By the time I got there, my knee and leg were covered in dirt and blood, which worked to my benefit cause the ER was slammed, but they didn't want me out in the waiting room making people uncomfortable. The highlight of the evening - even moreso than them interrogating the joint with 200 CCs of saline solution to make sure the wound hadn't infiltrated the joint space - was the ortho telling me that he wasn't able to readily get a hold of lidocaine, and that I could either proceed without, or wait a long time because he didn't have time to wait for them to find some. I opted for a scrub and stitch without cause I was ready to get the fuck out of there.
So dumb. I've been resistant to knee pads for trail rides, but went ahead and ordered some. Though, I'm certain I wouldn't have been wearing them yet, so they wouldn't have helped in this case.

The wound is crammed with dirt, so that's probably helping.
