2) my first ski job was at hidden valley, nj, which is 5 mins down the street from mt creek. At the time (20 yrs ago now), one of my colleagues had the last name "Rude", and I am pretty sure he was from that hood. Wonder if it's his uncle or something.

Didn't click as to who it was until later though.

Stupid fast kid, obviously. I'm not too terribly slow for a non-racing over 40 dude, but how quickly and casually he put the hammer down and dropped me was humbling to say the least.
