Banff / Northern Rockies Backpacking Hints, Tips, Tricks Wanted
Some friends and I are going on a weeklong backpack trip in the Colorado Rockies during the end of August.
I have been on extended camping trips before but they mostly consisted of canoe trips in the Boundary Waters of Minnesota so it is a little different ballgame.
Kind of a vague ask but if anyone has their top tips that'd be greatly appreciated.
Figured if I can learn from other peoples' "oh shit" moments then it might keep me from having them myself.Proudly representing the beefy part of the bell curve

Although there are various long distance trails that could help you link the two places.
