A slave created Jack Daniels
Ha. My old landlord made me appreciate the duh moment when looking at stuff created before the Civil War, and a little after, and realizing that slaves built/made it. One can walk through entire quaint villages in the east and say, hey, Slaves Built This. Now, add Jack to the list.

Slavery and Wages; wages are temporary!
Scientists now have decisive molecular evidence that humans and chimpanzees once had a common momma and that this lineage had previously split from monkeys.

please schindler, I don't think having a jack and coke is anywhere near drinking SoCo and Yukon jack - that stuff'll curl your hair lol
If I want to get carded/ pretend I'm in hi school I order a rum and coke
although this reminds me of this winter. My MO was to ski till 2:30 or 3pm, then head to the spur to get seats while Andrew skis until last bell. I was tired and wanted a pep up so I ordered a Jack and Coke but they didn't have Jack Daniels nor Coke so I had to order a Dickel and cola
So sadskid luxury

Hot afternoon Saturday, sitting on the porch, drinking jack and coke. Nothing wrong with that in my book.

Gentleman Jack isn't bad, but it sure ain't no bourbon.
There's a hipster sandwich bar in town that has two giant slushie machines that spew out nothing but frozen Jack and Cokes (only Coke, it's ATL after all) in mason jars. Not usually one for the sweet stuff but damn if those aren't good on a 90 degree day on the patio. Strong too.I still call it The Jake.
