2016 TDF Fantasy League [spoiler alert]

Time to get it going again, rosters have been announced and the race starts a week from Saturday (7/2).

Does anybody care where we do this? I know in the past some have suggested we use NBC instead of Velogames, I've never used NBC but will be happy to switch it over if that's the consensus.

    Regardless, $10 per entry?

Since it appears nobody gives a shit, it's going to be Velogames. I'll set it up and provide all the log in info when I'm done.

I should have learned my lesson from the past two years for two reasons: 1. I get my ass kicked badly despite thinking I know what's up and 2. Now I get spammed from Oregon Adaptive Sports.

    Regardless, I'm in.

I guess if you're going to fight with a cyclist you should probably go after a climber. Those guys are like jockeys. Sprinters, on the other hand probably not such a good choice. Maybe not Bouhani so much but Greipel and Kittel look like NFL linebackers.

What the fuck? Only 4 entries so far? All you spandex warriors need to come out of the closet and get in on this.

You'd think that, but Greipel for example isn't that imposing when you see him in person. He's just super lean, which makes him look ripped is all.

100 point limit is tough to fill a team with decent riders.

No kidding. Had Froome, Quintana and Sagan on my team last year. No way to get all of them this year

    Speaking of Sagan http://www.wsj.com/articles/the-rock...ing-1467323948

You are right. I whittled it down to 104 and spent 30 minutes trying to figure out how on earth I was getting rid of 4 points.

Seemed unusually difficult this year. I managed to get Sagan, Quintana and Kittel but the rest of my guys need to seriously over perform.

    Contador's gone down already...and if I was 12 I'd definitely want a Swervy Ball.
