We leave sheets and a comforter on the mattress; pillows come off and get stored in the under-bed compartment.
We bought a really nice dual layer memory/closed cell foam mattress to replace the 20 year old open cell foam mattress. It was definitely worth the couple hundred bucks. The camper bed is now as comfortable as my bed at home.

Campers/RVs definitely have the edge over any sleeping pad or cot. My car tent camping pad is a 4" thick thermarest-style knockoff that weighs 10#, but it's nowhere near as cushy as the camper mattress.

Just started looking at pop ups for my tundra. Anybody remember the name of the newer outfit based in Oregon?

Lol, I have fallen so far... 1 ton truck with giant 3000lb 10.5' air conditioned slide in camper with queen bed and dry bath... oops.

I miss the little simple popup. Sold to a maggot on here, hope they are enjoying it still.
