Wearing a Buff while fishing
I am not a fisherman, i decided long ago that I know what fish look like and I do not need to pull them out of the water.
So, I admit I am not in the scene nor do I know what is going on with modern fishing techniques.
But the last place I thought i would see a fashion trend is in fishing,
So, whats the deal with wearing a buff over your entire face while fishing?

Not hot if you've got the right fabric, it's not like we're running around or anything. Plus sunburns suck...

1. It protects from the sun
2. Keeps biting bugs off
3. It keeps you warm if it's cold, like when moving through a freezing river hunting migratory trout at 01:00hrs, or searching for salmon in January and Feb in snow and ice melt river
4. Camo conceals you when hunting for wary, easily spooked fish
5. Get the fuck out JONGGone fishing

women call it a buff
men call it a sunmask
me? i've never worn one on my face while fishing
but it's come in handy to cover my bald head

Wearing a Buff while fishing
I've never considered fishing "a scene". I don't own a buff, probably should, but if I did no one would even see it because I fish alone 99.9% of the time.
They also seem to be useful at concealing ones identity from potential internet psychopaths
