kevin delapp in bozeman at deeter automotive. What kind of car is it?

No oil, as in it needs a new motor? Or he caught it before things went really wrong.

The jury is still out. If he ran it out of oil he should just take what he needs and start hitching, leave the car.

Theres a subie dealer in butte, might be the best bet if you aren't willing to tow to a more liberal town

If its a blown motor, definitely worth taking it to an indie mechanic as opposed to the dealer. Don's subaru in bozeman is pretty good.

If its fubar and he wants to ditch it, I would be willing to take a pass at it before it sells to a mechanic.

    1) subaru dealer in Butte. Harrison Ave exit, go south, just before Wal Mart.

    2) Kent Bros. automotive in Missoula. Next door to Kettlehouse Brew Pub.

    3) Avalanche Auto Repair in Four Corners (Bozeman suburb)

I have tomorrow off work and will be running errands around Bozeman. Give me a call if you need help.

Thanks all for your support. The kids hung out with folks in a broke down 5th wheel and were excited about getting to ride in a State Trooper car and a tow truck. 12 hour drive to rescue kicked my ass.

Subaru: a great family car, you'll know who your real family is when they're giving you a ride from the shop.
