a friend has access to two golden eagles mounted from an estate. nobody is sure when they where mounted, but the guess is between 1930 and 1950 and there is no documentation. they were taken in vermont.
they are at a loss as what to do with them. I am sure they would like to sell them.
does anybody have any advice?

Personally I'd make them disappear. I'm not saying I'm the most upstanding citizen, but the fish cops have a hard on over eagle parts.

The camp of Indians which we visited were chiefly engaged in catching war eagles, to make head dresses.
It’s the first sentence. Yes. Feathers
But I found this interesting:
The eagles are brought alive into the camp, and after some ceremony the tails are pulled out, and they are let go to grow another tail for the next year.. . .

inviting the inevitable abuse I usually take for my name, but who cares; I think it's cool. apparently, the cougar has roamed all if the American continents, from argentina to upper Canada.

You should check a better map if you're interested in snow leopards or tigers in Russia. Just because they are in part of the country doesn't mean the range extends across all of it. I also think Alaska doesn't have cougars

Better to rehearse dead than live it for real.
Fucking bison, people mistake the fact that they don't give much of a fuck about anything much less some stupid person getting close and then for whatever reason they decide to stick a horn in you.
Being gored sounds horrible, but fitting.I have been in this State for 30 years and I am willing to admit that I am part of the problem.
