This pretty much. I've easily met a couple hundred mags (hosted many a Ullrfest) and made many good friends. Mags are probably one of the more solid groups on the internet. Like any bunch of randoms, there will be outliers, but they are far and few between. Kind of nice being able to meet up and get tours wherever you ski and then do the same for others.

If you are ever in St Petersburg, I'll take you fishing, maybe we can break your streak.

They weren't chemo. They weren't vitamins either.

Anyway, neuroblastoma is rare in adults. Exceedingly rare.

He was an honest dealer when I bought a pair of skis from him, though.

    Best fucking thread ever.

IIRC Raps lives/lived in SF and was one of the early people at American Giant (clothing). Started relatively soon after the business launched.

Anybody else remember Wizard? Man that guy was a train wreck. From Mass., lived in Whistler, just hammered all the time from what I could tell. There's a famous ride in Boston with I think VinzClortho (and I miss that guy too, where are you Vinz?) and Acostiga and maybe someone else, I can't remember, where they went the wrong way down Charles Street and Wizard just jumped the fuck out of the moving car and then disappeared into downtown Boston.

Nice, Bob, I didn't see that (obviously). I thought I might be the only one that remembered him but obviously not.

Heh, found the pic- Schuss, Ghee Pup, Yoga Chick, Gone Huckin, and MTT in the back doing...whatever the fuck he's doing.
Ghee Pup attended a Gordycamp with the same problem. He got so hammered he missed a day of camp, Gordy had to quiet him down during the nightly video sessions. Nice enough kid, but he certainly couldn't handle his liquor.

Somebody told me at a later Gordycamp that ghee pup got hammered and then staggered out of the video review session to go sleep in the truck bed.

I think I remember that story, or one just like it from the Boston crowd.

Kellie is living the awesome life in Alaska, still. Something like three weeks on, three weeks off from the oil gig. So she gets in a lots of outdoor activities as well as travel. She was also a part-time bush pilot for a couple of years.

He's doing great, traveling a ton. Been meaning to meet up for a drink for a while, need to make that happen. His bro, meats of evil, is also doing well. And their father, GT40, is harder to get ahold of these days, but I try to give him a call every few months.

Awesome! I ran into her at ARL about 10 years ago and was impressed with what she was doing then. Nice to hear she’s still up that way.
