Hyundai sedan to go on sale Q1 next year. 400 mile range. Seems like they’re batteries are ok.

    https://www.caranddriver.com/news/a4...pecs-revealed/

Not wishful thinking either. Sedan is based on the Ionic 5 SUV already on sale, and with a starting price of $40k.

Gotta think it competes well against a Model 3.

Would it have been better if he’d compared Tesla to Caterham instead of Morgan?

GM partnering to install 2000 350kw fast chargers:

    https://www.caranddriver.com/news/a4...j-truck-stops/

(Tesla has about 1200 Superchargers installed, and they’re 250kw.)

That's impressive. What year will they get done installing 1200 out of 2000? I wish they would be more precise in those articles.

Personally i hope there is a ton of model 3 competitors soon and I'm wrong about how quick it happens.

The MAGA fools around here are demanding that the city/county remove ALL the free EV charging stations in the area unless they also install free gas pumps at each location. You can't make this shit up..

The Brandon crowd out in the sticks here are parroting similar rhetoric, and acting super aggro when they see EVs on the road.

Even if someone built an EV named the Red Herring, that only came in red, they'd still miss the irony.

Ya, they're always parking the coal rollers to block the charging stations around here too. And you know people willing to do that are definitely armed and expecting confrontations.

And yet they like to pretend the other side ‘politicizes everything’.

lol, true. Some friends (after recently moving here) were coal rolled in their Prius. He laughed, but she was perplexed, "it's a good car, not a political statement! We don't even have bumper stickers!?"

Musk has officially jumped the shark... again? The first time was when he tried to accuse that diver of being a pedo cause he poopoo’d master Elon’s idea.

He reminds me a lot of this fucking idiot I work with. The only difference is that people actually listen to what Musk has to say for some reason.

imagine being mad about a car that's been in production for 25 years.

I was looking at some of the electric hyundai's and i kind of like their detailing and that ioniq 6 looks pretty sweet, would like to test drive one eventually, i wasnt super thrilled by the construction quality of the tesla 3 i drove. I drove an i3 as well and wasnt super thrilled about the construction tolerances.

    Ya, that is funny.
Last time I rented the neighbors in the next unit had a friend or family member living with them for a couple of weeks. He was a bro, a little guy with a jacked up, pavement princess truck which had a "fuck your Prius" sticker on the back...kinda a douche.
Anyways our landlord stopped by one day (he drove a Prius somtimes) to do some maintenance, and whether or not it was connected "Bro" hit the high trail the next day.
