Elon Musk: Smartest Guy in The World or Complete Clown?
I’ve never promoted Tesla. There are two sides to every trade and all I have done was counter the negative bias. When they beat sales estimates, completed the China plant on schedule, and demand remained constant you need to adjust opinion. But it’s easier to attack the messenger. There’s probably an appropriate Gordon Gekko quote.
“You're walking around blind without a cane, pal. A fool and his money are lucky enough to get together in the first place.”

Use this thread as an example of what losers do when they are challenged and jealous of success. post a silly meme or something disparaging; maybe make fun of my mom. That would be original. Jealous of success and wrong about path is classic loser.
The easy and right thing to do is just say you were wrong about Tesla.

use this post as an example of how Silicon Valley turned into Hollywood or DC. Ain’t no truth, just bullshit. Beat sales estimates? 2019 unit sales were low end of guidance. Yes, wrong about the stock price, I’ll admit that. It’s still a shitty Corp financially.
now troll away loser.

I wouldn't say wrong about the stock price. It's clearly overvalued, so the decision was correct, it just didn't with out this way.
It's wrong to judge a decision on the outcome, because that's influenced by many things, including luck.
You can make a bad decision and have a good outcome.
For example, bc ski on a high avie danger day and survive.
Good decision? No, you got lucky.

I think Tesla is a mixture of a couple of things. Its a dreamer and a good product but can't seem to be managed effectively to be on the road to profitability . There is a cult following who ignore basic business principals for the dream. Its being managed like a tech startup with lots of bright eyed bright employees. But unlike a tech startup the marginal cost per unit once growth has been achieved is not almost 0. Once you have achieved what should be an economy of scale of production you should be making some money.
I was going to speak to the cost on money isn't that low for them but I looked at the current bond yields and they are no longer in the crapper, trading about par so yes they can go back to the market for more money.

TSLA like many growth companies and startups are not binary outcomes like dunfree and m-jong think. The idea that TSLA would just implode under the weight of its own optimism was misguided. NFLX, ROKU, the list can go on for optimism overvalued.

Consider this. Tesla is valued more than GM and Ford combined.
