here's the transcript on yesterday's cross-asset TSLA call. Pretty damning.

TSLA's dropping and some dubious bit of news from halfway across the globe comes up to refute the bear narrative. That never happens with this stock

I like how possibly exceeding Q4 is suggested as an amazing achievement when when they were forecasting 50% growth for 2019 at the end of last year.

That's just what a car with dubious quality control needs.

Announcing Fifth Bolt Friday! Effective immediately, every member of the assembly line team may omit every fifth bolt (or nut!) on the fifth day of the week. This time saving initiative will help us meet our 5000 unit goal.

    ...and coming soon: Torqueless Tuesdays!

One of the things that just reinforces my opposition to Musk is the decision making behind FSD/autopilot. It's obvious to me that, at some point, Musk realized Tesla wasn't viable. Likely in 2016 or 17. At that time he made the conscious decision to 'shoot the moon' and gamble the firm and public safety on his ability to do the undoable: not only create a cheap model 3 (now proved a lie) but also solve the FSD conundrum of creating a set of algorithms that can manage a world of infinite complexity. Both major gambles are showing themselves to be monstrous failures that will trigger billions in losses for investors alongside several customer deaths that otherwise would not have occurred. I don't know if he's indifferent to this result or just so adept at lying to himself that it didn't register, but either way he's a corrosive motherf***er that deserves everything that's coming his way.

Of course, he'll cry and moan all the way to bankruptcy. And the govt will likely bail him out of SpaceX at minimum.

I don't think he's ever given a shit. He just moves from one hustle to the next in a rolling scheme of self-enrichment. the daisy chain of Tesla -> Space-X -> Boring -> Neuralink with him rolling resources from one to the next benefiting mostly himself and his family. the infuriating thing at this point is he's grasped it's the era of legal-realism. ain't nobody going to do fuckall to stop his bullshitting as long as he can drive a media narrative. Which is why he silences social media critics and there are so many random anonymous "leaks" at the right time.

But, but, but, you just don't understand. Autopilot doesn't do everything in a plane, what ever would make you think it would do everything involved in driving your car????

Dumbfree SpaceX is a profitable business that has taken over the industry and knocked competitors out. Russia got utterly destroyed by spacex
ULA is only persistent due to entrenched government contracts. Spacex is winning over 65% of contracts and growing in a market that is also growing. Name: SpaceX.jpeg

Hey, wait, just hear me out on this. What if you had big cars attached to each other in that tunnel, oh, say, six or seven of them holding maybe 100 people each. There would be frequent stops at stations along the way, where people could exit or board the cars. Sure, they could be self driving, the tech is there. Whatdoyathink? What would we call this new contraption..........

Musk is certain his planned 12,000 starlink sats won't fuck up the night sky for astronomers
