Reminds me of that chick who told me the reason Taos was so magical is because it's directly on the other side of the earth from Tibet.
I'm like, "So it has the same Lat/Long, just reversed?" She's like, "Huh?"

My Dad lives in Mt. Shasta, which sees it's share of new age-types there to experience the "energy" of the mountain. A lady once told him that energy originates from a giant "crystal" of obsidian deep in the center of the mountain. Unfortunately, he chose not to tell her that obsidian is an amorphous material and non-crystalline by definition.

Solar City purchase doesn't seem so smart. Maybe focus on building all those Model 3s instead?

Or some sort of infrastructure around current model maintenance and repair. Growth at the expense of sustainability is a short-sighted. Anecdotal I know but pretty well supported on a large scale, my buddy's was in a fender bender and his was off the road for a month. Two days back in the saddle and he got t-boned. New door and new seat = delivery expectation date a YEAR out.

Elon is a dbag.
I worked at a machine shop programming a machine that made (polished) the awd gearbox for the model x.
Project was a nightmare.
They tried to pretend that they are Apple and would only share the design on the gearbox eventhough I am under NDA.
Ive done machine programming for Ford (new F150, steering seals), Chrysler (2.4l engine, rubber seals/ hoses) and GM (AWD seals). GM is by far the best to work with and has their act together, Tesla is the worst.
Today someone cut me off to go to Maverick on the 40 in Heber in a model x. Danm that thing is ugly. Wish I saw it before I worked on the project.
