that reminds me of this a little: http://worldrps.com
except they're not really serious at the World Rock Paper Scissors Society. The forums on there used to be pretty fun but they're dead as a doornail now. Maybe TGR could bring the place back to life, what say ye? ROSHAMBO!!!

Some people like Musk are looking ahead.
However, it feels like more and more (especially in this country) are not. I feel like we keep sliding toward...
Aim for the chopping block. If you aim for the wood, you will have nothing. Aim past the wood, aim through the wood.

Rode in a Model S d90 yesterday. I'm convinced he's a wizard or something. The car is pure fucking magic.

Good point. The nuclear reactor in my Tucker has never needed fuel.

I saw a tesla stopped on the side of an offramp in Eugene yesterday. At the top was a sign for the ev charging port, first time I've seen someone run out of power on the highway

I'm a fan. Just wish I could afford the price of admission. Though it would need to be 4WD.
However many are in a shit ton.

That stuff only makes sense if you're the one playing the game. And if I was playing a game there would be way more hookers and blow. So it doesn't make sense.

You're missing the forest for the trees. Electric engines are demonstrably superior to ICEs in every conceivable way. The only advantage ICEs hold is energy storage. Once the energy storage issue is solved ICEs will become museum pieces overnight. It's a very good thing that someone is pushing development of EVs.

I agree with everything you're saying.
As soon as the energy storage is solved, evs are the way to go.
But that's in the future. Right now, they are sold to people for bragging rights as the third or fourth car.
I had a car that had a range of 200 miles on a tank of gas, and it was a pain in the ass. It seemed that I was always looking for a gas station.
