    ON3P Skis - Ski Builder Positions (filled)

    ON3P is looking to fill three production positions we have open at this time. All are located at our Portland, OR factory. These are manufacturing positions and we are a manufacturing company. Applicants should be interested in the ski building process and be familiar working with their hands.

    Position: Ski Builder – Assembly
    Location: Portland, OR
    Start Date: ASAP
    End Date: N/A
    Pay: Hourly
    Hours: Full Time – 40 Hours/Week
    Benefits: Health, Dental, Vision, Short & Long Term Disability, Life. Industry discounts & flexible schedule to ensure ability to ski on weekdays (during winter). PTO + Sick Time.
    Objective: Build the best skis in the world
    Duties:
    • Edge, Composite, and Plastic Prep
    • Manufacture of completed parts, including sidewalls, assembled cores, assembled bases
    • Understanding of ON3P’s ski building process and ability to determine any issues within the process
    • Steadfast adherence to our production standard work

    Qualifications:
    • High attention to detail
    • Ability to stay focused during high-repetition tasks
    • Experience working around power tools and high standard for safety
    • Ability to stand on your feet for eight hours per day
    • Familiar with skiing and ski construction
    • The right attitude and willingness to learn our process


    Position: Ski Builder - Finishing
    Location: Portland, OR
    Start Date: ASAP
    End Date: N/A
    Pay: Hourly
    Hours: Full Time - 40 per week
    Benefits: Health, Dental, Vision, Short & Long Term Disability, Life. Industry discounts & flexible schedule to ensure ability to ski on weekdays (during winter). PTO + Sick Time.
    Objective: Build the best skis in the world

    Duties:
    • Cut, grind, and shape skis
    • Clean, flatten, prep, and structure bases
    • Hand finish and finish prep skis
    • Understanding of ski building process and ability to determine any issues within the process
    • Steadfast adherence to our production standard work

    Qualifications:
    • Experience using ski grinding machines and understanding of ski tuning process
    • High attention to detail
    • Ability to stay focused during high-repetition tasks
    • Experience working around power tools and high standard for safety
    • Ability to stand on your feet for eight hours per day
    • Familiar with skiing and ski construction
    • The right attitude and willingness to learn our process


    Position: Ski Builder - Expo
    Location: Portland, OR
    Start Date: ASAP
    End Date: 12/1/16, though continuation/full time possible
    Pay: Hourly
    Hours: Part Time - 15-25 hours/week
    Benefits: Industry discounts & flexible schedule to ensure ability to ski on weekdays. Sick Time.
    Objective: Build the best skis in the world

    Duties:
    • Handfinishing skis
    • Edge, Composite, and Plastic Prep
    • Manufacture of completed parts, including ski cores, assembled cores
    • Understanding of ski building process and ability to determine any issues within the process
    • Steadfast adherence to our production standard work

    Qualifications:
    • High attention to detail
    • Ability to stay focused during high-repetition tasks
    • Experience working around power tools and high standard for safety
    • Ability to stand on your feet for eight hours per day
    • Familiar with skiing and ski construction
    • The right attitude and willingness to learn our process

    You should probably qualify this by clarifying that it's actual factory work and you don't just get to bro out and be the cool ski guy. That should cut your submissions in half, at least. ;-)

    i'm just being a smartass, by the way. i assume you must be expanding unless there is some hookers and blow tale on the company dime.

    As I said on Blister, a lot of people interested in hanging out, a few people interested in working.

    Sadly, no one was fired, so we're all still trapped. At least we never have to ski weekends.

    live in Portland, ground zero of hipster central just off Division. Use to drive by their original location almost daily.
