Ultimate walkaround/travel/ski/couloir lens with VERY effective image stabilization. I loved it because you could be in a narrow chute and start shooting far away all the way until the skier passes you then zoom back in as they go on their way.

This is the ultimate gem of a lens. The best version with nonrotating front, focus scale, IR markings, and metal mount. Same optical formula that Canon has used since 1972 through what they sell today. It is that sharp. I don't want to sell it, but I have the 1.4 and can't justify having two 50s.
