We may have a day in Goshen this July when we are back visiting my folks in Monticello. I like Goshen... I spent a lot of time walking around town and the track when I was a kid. My father works as a judge for the races there during the summer.

jersey pizza CRUSHES ny pizza
everything is good here. pretty well adjusted by now and actually really like where im at. the toughest adjustment has just been the sheer number of people everywhere. its a bit overwhelming. the retirement community where i work has a bigger population than the ski town i moved from. crazy.
i miss the mountains but i guess the ocean is cool. think i will try to take up surfing this year.
oh. and im getting married next march. so thats pretty rad

Nice action, congrats.
I think the cool thing about working at a retirement home is when you retire you don't have to go anywhere, you just stay put but stop with all the work bullshit.

That's 'world famous' Pepe's.
Don't forget Apizza, also in New Haven. Totally unappetizing.....

Star Tavern - Dad found it in 63. It was a Friday night ritual for years. I used to get excited, Dad would let me pick up the pie while he waited out front in the car. It was the first time I handled money.
If you ever get the chance, the clam pie is unforgettable. I still get there four or five times a year.

That was the best pizza in Dudlow.
One Saturday night no one wants to cook. Like 6 cars in the driveway and I'm bocked in. House partner is the first vehicle available. 90 Ford Bronco. I zip down (stoned and liquored up) with his son to pick up the pies. Pop out of Wicked, slam the truck into reverse and proceeded to back into a 6in concrete-filled steel Ballard protecting the fire hydrant. Must have been going pretty good when I hit it. Collected both rear quarters in addition to the entire back of the truck.
Pizza didn't taste so good that night.Last edited by Gepeto; 05-22-2018 at 03:51 PM.

An abomination. New Haven is a shithole.
