Nice, I hadn't heard. It's been about five years since I first rode it, but I totally agree that's it's arguably the best trail in Moab.

Well thank god they wore helmets

That was definitely hard to watch. They increased the danger and the possibility of getting killed (not injured, but just killed), without really increasing the difficulty of the ride. Dangerous for the sake of being dangerous.

More impressed with this video, a more technical line, and seems to be more purposeful riding. For as good as the riding is, the video is absolute shit though. Gets real interesting around 3 minutes.

Bouncing down redrock shale with a body part explosion upon every bounce.

I think we all share that love.

The problem is the risk vs reward ratio is out of balance. BASE jumping at least there's the whole flying through the air thing which I imagine is awesome.
I ski 135 degree chutes switch to the road.

It's just Kyle and Nate fucking around, those guys have nothing to prove. I'd bet Kyle has ridden those lines 50 times just for giggles, no cameras.

Unfortunate accident. Been there and the area trails can get close to the cliff edge, but not that close. So perhaps she endo'd and got thrown over.
Lots of trail skirting the edge of the Escarpment where a fall would be really bad. Sad to read of the incident. It's been 10+ years since I rode in Kelso, but I don't remember too many sections that got that close to the cliff edge, it was usually just short sections of side trail that actually lead to the edge.
