I guess backorder wouldn't be such a bad thing as the tires I have now will be more versatile for spring conditions.
FWIW, I ran a 2.5 Aggressor WT on my Trail Pistola last spring with no issues.

Yeah, cool. Probably the same size as the e13 2.35 I just ordered, lol.

Figured this might be a good place for this. Selling a Schwalbe Rock Razor in the new Super Trail/Addix Speedgrip, 29x2.35, with literally three weeks on it.
    Great fast rear tire.
    $50 + shipping

    I'll give you a 6 pack for a 3 week used tire.

    ^^^ heh.

But seriously. 3 weeks on a rear tire could be 90% of its life, depending on location and rider.

So each ride removes about $12 in value.
    good to know.

    I get that.
But, in this case, it's basically a new tire that's had Stan's in it.

The stan's is probably worth a couple bucks.

I kid - just giving you shit. You should see if Stuck wants it - I think he was looking for a semi slick.

Or would the 2.3 be fine with 19mm internal rims?

Ha, that was supposed to be 29mm.

3 weeks on a Schwalbe? I think that's about how long they last.

Fast rolling rear tire for the NE options? want something more than a semi slick. Currently have a worn out hans damf SG that is ok but a bit slow and drifty and a mostly worn trail boss tough/fast that is not as grippy as preferred and has a tread hole in it. Hans damf is on the bike right now and will likely swap them soon if I can find the hole. Casing needs to hold up to 250lbs of bike + rider hucking into sharp rocks. Currently eying a michelin wild enduro rear.

I put several people on to the new Nevegal and they've all been super happy with it as a rear tire.
Just enough knob to hold well but super fast rolling

Double down Maxxis aggressor in dual compound or maxxterra could be a good option. I ran that on the back of my bike last year and was happy with it, but I'm not much of a tire shredder.

Agreed with that. Aggressor is a safe bet for decent rolling speed and decent traction. Only downside is if it's muddy.

Could also go Nevegal, provided you have a low deductible health plan and your life insurance policy is paid up.

    I love this shit.
Kenda completely redesigned the tire. There is no comparison to the Nev of old. I decided to try it because every review of it was overwhelming praise.
I personally know of four people running it, including my wife. Two of these people are constantly on the lookout for better tire performance and, as such, have tried all the above mentioned tires and then some.
All four have agreed strongly with the reviews.
As far as fast rolling rear tires, I've personally used the Aggressor, Dissector, WTB Trail Boss, WBT Breakout, Rock Razor, new Nobby Nic, and yes, the Nev2.
But hey, you're the experts, even without riding one. You just "know".

By the way, Phall, don't feel bad, Maxxis doesn't understand how intermediate knobs work either.

Actually, I would try one for a fast roller/hard pack tire...but they are SO easy to make fun of.
    It’s basically a meme.

Yeah, I agree nevergrip basically is a meme at this point. It might have helped kenda's bottom line OEMing them on practically every bike, but it certainly didn't help their dirt cred.

I'm the first guy to admit that I don't know anything about tire design and that I just use trial and error to see what works for my hack riding style, but why exactly is the new intermediate knob design better?

I thought it was never-roll? So I actually have an old friend that works at Kenda and I ran some of them last summer. The pinner was a great front tire for me, FWIW. I ran the regolith out back and it was pretty meh.

Shockingly, I had no flat issues, which was the bane of Kendas bitd.

The standard question around 2010/11: "How many rides did you get flats on before you got rid of those POS tires?"
