    new ski suggestion 10x something

    Hi,

it is the end of the season and prices are really attractive now. I have decided that I am missing 10x size in my ski collection (have 98 and 115 already).

Any suggestions? Currently I am looking on either one:

    Blizzard Cochise 185
    Salomon Q Lab 190
    ?

I am about 200 lbs and 6' advanced not expert.
    Thank you

What are your 98mm ski and 115mm ski?

Depending on what skis you have in each category it may or may not make any sense to own a 10X just for an in-between width just cause. Unless you're looking for a ski that does something very differently than your current two.

What do you like to ski? If you dont like demanding, must stay on top of it at all times skis, but like the Blizzard feel, dont get the Cochise, and check out the Scout. I tour on a pair and really like how easy they are to ski. They are also cheep right now. I got my 193s for $150.

    my everyday ski is
Blizzard Bonafide 180 and for powder days I got Salomon Q 115 188
I ski at Lake Tahoe, so powder days are more like a lot of wet heavy snow.

I don't see the need for a ski between. too much overlap. Buy a ~70mm groomer ski or a jibby 90mm underfoot ski for fucking around when the snow is crappy.

+1. No real need for a 10X unless you are looking for a demanding, charging ski. Groomer ski, playful ski, or a 130mm massive pow day ski.

    thank you everyone..
I guess just because I could find a good deal.. I still don't need it.
(P.S. I have a rock groomers ski: Atomic M9 for the very bad, no snow conditions)

Moment M1 probably would eat me alive... Cochise could be a noodles against it (I am right?).
