    New extreeeme "sport"?

I just had an idea for a great extreeeeeeeme sport.

Get a wing suit with a harness.
Get a Truck. (or a really fast boat?)
Get a rope. (A long one.)
I think you can see where this is going.
Tie the rope to the harness with a Quick release (for safety. lol)
Get a guy in the truck to man a belay.
    Drive like fucking mad.
Belay the Guy in the suit up into the air as a Kite.

Getting back down could be sketchy if you don't pull your parachute at the right instant.

Who's in? I'll drive. Some salt flats somewhere? It could be in the next TGR moofie. Maybe we could all get free RedBull.

I don't think a wing suit would provide enough lift at truck speeds. Definitely not if the truck is on a treadmill.

hang gliders & paragliders have been doing this to fly flatlands for at least 20 years, so yeah its probably the perfect time for TGR to report as the next big thing.

You wouldn't need enough speed for lift in the same sense as an aircraft needs lift. It would be more resistive lift like a kite. It would definitely be more extreeeeme than tow gliding because if you lose your pull you drop like a stone if you don't get your parachute out instantly (even then it could be pretty sketchy).

Damian Sanders will have done it in the 90s far gnarlier than now when people are just wasting their money on the new size wing suits?

IIRC, typical wingsuit flight speeds are 120-140 mph and the stall speed is considerably slower. You'd need a fast truck and a Bonneville/Black Rock-type location, but I'd say it's probably doable. Launching and safely ending a run would definitely be the sketchy parts.

Yes, and it doesn't usually end with you becoming road kill.

I'm picturing a guy spred eagle face down on some kind of longboard or other sketchy roller, tied behind a truck, having to hit 140 before the lift is there.
    Definitely extreme.

    Start with the original concept.
    1. Tow vehicle, preferably on a runway or a long lonely road.
    2. Long semi stretchy rope.
    3. Harness thing.
    4. Wing Suit with Wing Suiter Guy.
    5. Treadmill.
    6. Try different combinations of who/which is on the treadmill.
However many are in a shit ton.
