I'm leaning toward mid-May when it's the only place still open.

How much snow would be left or how much of the slopes open at mid-May?

How much snow will be left depends on weather between now and then. Not unusual to get a few storms in April and early May. Canyon and Eagle will be closed, but the whole mountain is semi open (slack country, not patrolled, etc, but skiable.)

    I'm good!

The Mammoth Max Memorial Mini is ON! Max and the Whistler crew showed up for the mini one year and blew the collective minds of everyone on the hill.

Cheers and Good Bye, my enthusiastic Bro. This Mini will be in your honor.

Just tell me when, I really want to come up again, but need an excuse. Think I will bring the koo koos with me and do some hiking with them. And I hope Big Tim and crew is there. They made some great food last time I saw them and BT is a great guy.

I say we commit to May 14,15. I have friends for Holland visiting for the first three weeks of May, and not sure what their plans are, but a Mammoth Mini would be a good way to experience American culture, or debauchery depending on your point of view.

A little thread drift but are there any mammoth lift ticket deals out there? Thinking of skiing sometime like may 2-5 or 6. Just saw squaw is doing $49 tickets with a pass from another resort. Does mammoth do that? Liftopia has some deals but only for a five day ticket

Not sure if I can get out of attending a wedding that weekend, wish it didn't conflict. Will there be a Camp FKNA?

Just spent two nights there and the roads are pretty much clear. by next weekend they should be all clear or at least any remaining patches should be easily avoided. Unfortunately I start back to work next weekend (actually it's really fortunate i start back to work).
Still tons of coverage high and low

For the first time in likely a decade, I won't make it, since my knee is still fucked. I don't think I blew any ligaments but I'm barely riding my bike, and skiing is still completely out of the question.

    Go get some for me.
