Aspen -- lost ski 4FRNT CRJ 188 (lion) w/ look pivot binding

Gaper extraordinaire that I am, I managed to single eject and lose a ski out beyond Walsh's (uphill ski got deflected by a firm layer under the thigh-waist deep pow) -- looked for 45 minutes but saved energy for the one-footed traverse back in-bounds.

If anyone happens to come across this single ski in their travels beyond the gates, I would happily pay an appropriate reward for its safe return. I have a local non-mag buddy who will happily hold it for me. I can provide greater detail re: location for anyone inclined to look, please PM me if you find it.

    Thanks,
    (Rob)Goose

    1) Early Powerline, just before the the exit through the woods back towards Gents.
    2) Already notified Patrol and Guest Services; thought I'd post here in case any fellow mags noticed the ski (which I purchased through gear swap)

I exited the Richmond Ridge gate and returned to the resort at the base of Walsh's.

Going down the actual power line, did you go right at the normal spot or straight to the steep pitch?

There is a summer hiking trail that goes thru that area. It would be pretty easy to walk from there, down to the Walshes return road.

24 Hour Eddy McCaffery got swept by a slide in Harris's Wall and did the one ski shuffle out.
Found it in pristine condition in late June.

I followed the power line to the second pole (from the top)and turned left there. If someone happens to see it and brings it back ... that would be amazing!

My buddy lost a ski near that spot early in the season. I'll tell him to keep an eye out if/when he goes looking!

That should be right off the east rim trail or whatever... should be an easy search in summer.... no reason to go through there until things are melted out at this point.... unless we get a memorial day gondi day.
