Didn't you once post a pic of a rainbow trout and claim it was a brook trout?

My bad. It wasn't a rainbow, but it also wasn't a brookie.

    Take a lap, Tipp.

Hahaha, that pic of you and that little smelt is so fun for so many reasons!

As per your original question, I remember enjoying a beer after work in the peeler dive in Smithers and the talent du jour between sets came and sat at the table. She expressed a sincere interest in the local steelhead fishery, but I was the local newbie at the table, so let my more experienced coworkers set the hook, so to speak. Perhaps you can make the pilgrimage there, and get lucky.

    Ummm... Brown?

I never claimed to be an expert, dorks. I do enjoy the activity, however. Next thing you're gonna rag on me about is my vest or fly selection.

That said, I wonder if the girl in my post above would be interested in my Wooly Bugger.

I wonder if I can get my wife to dress like that next time we head north?

    1. That's not expert level knowledge. It's chapter 1, first day material.

    2. Yes, your vest is dorky.

    3. A wooly bugger innuendo joke? Gee, thanks for the effort. Never heard that one before.

Hey guys, Tipp is a gaper on the water.
