Now that would be a fun day to take the boy to the zoo.

"Caller says she &friends had just left the polar bear exhibit.they were "very active" and they didn't know if they were mating or fighting."

If they're anything like us it was probably one first and then the other.

I think that was the entire plot of the first two seasons of Californication "Fucking and Punching".

It might make the whole sex "talk" easier to have with your kid if you were at the zoo when this happened. Everything is better with polar bears.

There used to be a polar bear at the Central Park zoo in NYC named Gus. I think captivity made him neurotic as he just swam back and forth in his pool all day. He eventually died. It was sad to watch him.

If it weren’t for Russian spambot m-gongs I’d totally forget that there was a polar bear named Knut.

No thread with a mention of Gus would be complete without a link to the song.

    Fine. I'll do it.

Worth watching, it is kinda like a horror movie:

"... Enjoy yourselves, keep your brain in your head and your head firmly attached to your body, the body active and alive, and I promise you this much: I promise you this one sweet victory over our enemies, over those deskbound people with their hearts in a safe deposit box and their eyes hypnotized by desk calculators. I promise you this: you will outlive the bastards." – Edward Abbey
