It’s probably tough to gauge the future auto appetite and prices with any certainty. Plus there wouldn’t be any buy opportunities if you could easily read the leaves. That new charcoal one is dope. Here’s mine

Rims are over the top, IMHO.
Dig the blue, though. Again, nice find.

It’s the summer set. They’re big and thought they’d be darker (titanium). Have 3 sets. Winter and stock/track

    God damn.

I can't remember the last time I've liked a new car this much at first sight. That's basically fucking perfect.

The silver B pillars are just perfect color contrast.

I've been banned 3-4 times. The place now exists to create advertising revenue.

I love the look of that Targa build. 430hp is a bit meh.

Are those 19s? Id bag those wheels and go with some Porsche Turbo IIs.

Those turbo wheels aren’t bad but I’m not changing brand new forged Brixton 20s [x12]. I’ll admit it’s not the best angle for the wheel and the sun hitting them makes for a busy look. Think I’m set to darken them to a light graphite color - they come off too bright. Same wheel:

I'd leave them as is with the blue.

I've got a Exige S260 Matte Black Ed. Hurry up and buy!

I'd vote for a subtle dark bronze powdercoat with satin finish. Just a little color to subdue and compliment the blue. Graphite could be cool but would also be shade-sensitive.

I stayed at a Holiday Inn Express last night.

I almost pulled the trigger on some ‘tinted bronze’ ones but wasn’t sure about the long term appeal of that look. Went more classical.

Bromo that is a nice clean mesh wheel

Hey Bromo and others- any wing ideas for the 997? Not completely set on getting one but mainly just haven’t found the right look I guess... or should I just leave it alone?

I know of a 996 C4S with full aero that's really pretty, so it's possible.

I forget if you talked through suspension, but if you have understeer you can throw on larger sways with tarrett drop links to really dial in corner entry. Sport cats make a big difference on sound it seems. If you're bent on cosmetically mixing it up, there are loads of cool wraps, fender guards and other ways to keep the addiction interesting .
I feel the same regarding keeping aero parts genuine or tech art like. Will not make any rushed decisions. New sways are on the list, reading around now. Do you think upgraded drop links are a must when adding anti roll?
The owner previously to me went Fister and sound is good. Considering Shark Werks cross pipes. A buddy did them and sounds great plus some claimed gains and weight reduction.

Where you really have to over-steer the wheel into tight corners to hold the inside line. After about a year or so with the sways, I added the tarrett drop links. The drop links eliminated understeer during corner entry, flattened out corners and were arguably a bigger improvement than the sways. The links tie down the corners so there's less float while cornering (go kart steering, direct as can be). With both sways and drop links you've reinforced the whole system & remove all the flex that takes away from response & feel.
Thanks for the info and insight. Drop links for sure then. Was eyeing the Eibach sways. Apparently they manufacture the CMG bars as well, those get high praise around the track.

Kind of concluded no intake or headers after reading how it throws sensors and is a PITA. Plenum swap is something new hadn’t heard of - I’ll check it out more.
Mainly interested in freshening & nailing the suspension for now. New damptronic struts and DSC sport (TPC racing) active susp controller, plus sways & drop links on stock springs. Any other suggestions?

Yea I got the Bilstien heavy duty upgraded stock-like version that works with PASM. Haven’t installed was waiting to gather up everything and do at once.

It’s a little more than 10 years old and has to get towed every where but I think I can get it cheap.
